Hi,
My toshiba L10W-B laptop is not turning on at all. the LED indicator next to the trackpad is lit up but the led near the power button is off. i tried connecting it to power, but the Led indicator next to the trackpad that usually lights up when it is charged won't even turn on. This computer doesn't have a removeable battery and no hole to reset the battery. I need this computer for work asap and need files off it. I don't want to reset it as i have files for work on it and haven't got them backed up. Any ideas to fix it?

Info of computer:
Part No.PSKVUA-001001
Serial No. XE0930858
Using intel pentium

Thanks for your help in advance

Many laptops don't have easily removable batteries. You could start with testing the cord and see if that is the issue. But, if that doesn't work, you are either going to have to open it up (carefully) and pull the battery to test, or, if it is still under warranty, contact the manufacturer about the problem.
Try the following and see if it will turn on.

1. First make sure the device has been charged.
2. Unplug your charger cord.
3. Remove the battery.
4. Press and hold the "Power" button for 30 seconds and see if the device will turn on.
5. If it does, great, now plug back in the power/charger cord. (If it didn't turn on without the cord in, it should turn on once you it is in. Yes sometimes they will turn on, or try to turn on, even with nothing attached/plugged in.)
6. Now put the battery back in.

If this doesn't help, then test the power cord to see if it is good. Either try your cord in another device, or try another devices cord in your laptop.

Should that not be the problem, then check the battery to see if it needs replacing.

From there, if it is still not working, then you may need to open it up and find out the problem. Or take it to a local tech/repair shop.
