Laptop won't start. (Toshiba Satellite P75-A7200)
When I power on it goes to a black screen. The power indicators light up but there is no noise from the HDD or fan. A short click of the power button turns it off so it is not starting at all and I can't see anything on screen even if something is there.

I tried an external monitor, Factory reset (Zero + Power), R&R battery. No help.
Would removing the BIOS battery for a minute help reset it?
Also note: I am helping a near blind person with this so the graphics settings are extreme and Windows 8.1 Magnifier is always on.
Any suggestions appreciated.

I sincerely hope I'm wrong, however to me is appears to be either a power up switch circuit board or motherboard. The first is considerably cheaper than the second. If you're familiar with disassembly of laptops it would be relatively easy to remove the keyboard and palm rest to replace the switch. Laptop switches are not contact switches but controlled by a small board with rubber like plastic contact. I had the same issue and change the switch. Unfortunately it was the mother board. Hope you have better luck than me.
