Toshiba Satellite power jack is loose

So I wave an L840D with a loose power jack. Fortunately its not connected to the motherboard, just the pin. Now the clip piece broke about a year ago, and I had a shop look at it and they soldered it.

I don't think I'm that rough but... Anyways its almost 3 years old, but I'm not ready for a replacement, and constantly wiggling the cord to get it to charge is annoying.

Should I take it in again to be resoldered, try epoxy or some, or try my first soldering job myself?

take the laptop apart, solder the jack's pins, epoxy it then put it back together. I've done that a number of times but then it was my job repairing server boards when I was working at Celestica back in 2001.
