Toshiba satellite win8 forgot password

A new problem for me. A customer brought in a Toshiba Satellite with win 8 and he doesn't know the password. I have a bootable utility on CD that will allow me to reset the password but Win 8 has "fast boot" enabled and I can't get to the boot menu without turning fast boot off. I can't log into windows to turn fast boot off. Sooooo. Anyone have any ideas? I can access the hard drive with a USB adapter on my PC, but I don't know how to reset the password that way.
