Touch pad gateway nv53 how do I turn it off

how do i turn off my touch pad on my gateway nv53 I have tryed to turn it off by going to my mouse but when i do that it only turns off my mouse
help me please

On the top of the keyboard are the media touch buttons, to the right of the WiFi is the touchpad ON/OFF buttton.
