Transfer files from dvd to usb memoory stick

how can i upload a program from a dvd onto a notebook with no dvd drive

Well, you can procure an external dvd/cd drive that you can rig via usb. Or you can try and transfer the files and such from your program CD to a USB flash drive and do an install that way.
