Solved! transfering video and image files from sd cards to an external hardrive via android phone (p20 pro)

is this even possible? Unfortunately my tablet has stopped working and being repaired . wondering if there was a work around using my p20 pro and some gadgetry.

external hard drive i have are samsung SSD T5 and a sandisk extreme portable SSD and a multicard reader

what kit would i need?

connect your phone and the card reader by an USB on the go (OTG) cable

copy the files from the SD card to the phone, then disconnect the card reader and connect the SSD
copy the files from the phone to the SSD

eventually this can work with an USB hub, then you could transfer the files directly from card reader to SSD

First, you can copy files from your SD card via SD card Reader to computer. Then you can transfer them to SSD directly. And you can also transfer videos and image files from SD Card on your Pro 20 to SSD on computer via usb cable connecting by using Samsung mobile manager tool.
