Just did a fresh install of Windows 8.1 on my pc and installed the realtek audio driver for the ASUS Maximus Hero Vii motherboard and now I get a notification from Norton that a Trojan horse virus has been blocked every time I boot up. I know it's a false positive, but it's still annoying. Any way to get rid of this and fix the issue? Why does this happen after the driver was installed?

It may not actually be a false positive, many driver sites aren't real, or attach viruses to drivers. Where did you get the driver from?
