Trying to hook up a TVLink to get sound output from all sources.

I have a Yamaha HTR-3065 with 4 inputs via HDMI cables and HDMI to the TV.Everything works fine. I recently acquired a TVLink to send sound to my hearing aides. Can't figure out where to connect it to the receiver to collect all the sound. Can connect it directly to cable box and it works fine, but then I miss whatever I listen to that does not come through the cable box like DVD, etc.

You have two options.
1. Connect it to the audio output on the back of the receiver (2 RCA jack).
2. Connect it to the headphone jack on the front of the receiver (1 headphone jack).
Using the headphone jack will likely turn of the receiver speakers when you plug it in.

Option 2: Plugging a headphone jack into the jack on the front of the receiver does shutoff the sound to the speakers which eliminates the ability of another person to hear the sounds.
Option 1: There is an Audio Out section with 2 RCA jacks (Red and White) but I get no sound out unless there is a way to tell the receiver to send sound info to those jacks (I don't know how).
