Trying to sell my s6. Clean esn# but sprint said can only be used with them. Is that true?

Trying to sell galaxy s6 from sprint. Has clean esn# but was told by Sprint it can only be used on sprint. Is this true? Can it be used on any network?possible buyers ask if it is unlocked. Is that the same thing?

Did you ask Sprint to unlock the phone, is that when they said it can only be used by them? Sprint phones are a bit iffy on other networks, in theory if it can run on Verizon it can run on Sprint, but that is not always true due to carrier restrictions. You can try going to some phone carrier sites that have a bring your phone option and put in your phone info to see if they say it will work. MetroPCS, Boost, etc...
