Turntable plays quietly via amp, do i need a preamp? will it sacrifice sound quality?

Hello, I have an old turntable hooked up to a new-ish Nobsound amp. it plays very quietly on this amp but fine when i connect it to a sony hifi system i have.
Would I need a pre-amp for my amp?

Your photos are blurry, so I cannot get the model of the turntable, but it seems it does not have built-in phono preamp.

Just reading the specs of the pream mentioned, it seems to do the job (it has RIAA correction)

To play vinyl there has to be a dedicated phone preamp somewhere in the signal path. In your case neither the turntable or integrated amp have one built in so you have to add one. They come in a vastly wide range of prices and the quality does make a difference so spending more will get you an improvement in sound.
If your Sony system has a built in phone preamp you can use that one by connecting the tape record out to an input on the Nobsound. The Sony input selector would work but the volume control would not affect the phono signal going to the Nobsound. Might sound better than a cheap phono preamp.
By the way that Sansui turntable looks like one I used to have, Not shabby sounding at all. Use good cables with it.
