TV and HTS Question

Hello,

My TV (LG CInema3D 55") has a toslink out connection. My HTS has a digital coax in. My question is will this item: http/www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002J2MV4/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&smid=A3RXZ98XF59X38 allow all the devices i have plugged into my tv output sound to my HTS? My TV has the ARC feature, but I cant afford a new HTS now. Is this a viable option?
