Solved! tv digital coax output to bluetooth adapter not giving any audio

Trying to hook up a cheap led tv to Bluetooth speaker. I have used the digital coax audio out on the tv to the Bluetooth transmitter/adapter. the Bluetooth speaker will pair no problem with the bluetooth adapter but I cannot get any audio out from the tv. I have tried all the settings in the menu on the tv and no luck. TV is a Sylvania SLED3215A. I am also wondering if I should set the tv to output RAW or PCM audio. I'm wondering if that could make a difference how it worked with the Bluetooth adapter.

Any ideas would be appreciated. thanks

Well try both, nothing is gonna blow up by trying, just keep the volume set low initially.

It's unlikely that your BT transmitter will accept a surround sound input (BT is stereo) so definitely change the audio output type.
