I have an AWA 42" LCD TV and it is continually dropping 2 networks out of 5. I have another TV on the same antenna and it never has any problems. Most of the time I have to do an auto retune but it is not working today. Also if i hold the antenna lead and touch the antenna socket I get a small electrical tingle. This happens when the power is turned off but not when the power is on. Any clues anyone?

Well it's a lower end TV so I'd guess a cheap tuner or system board. I am not familiar with that brand, but online reviews are not good like

I wouldn't touch that TV with a Ten Foot Pole...

If you have a coax antenna running through a splitter might check if it's a low end splitter - might be a 800-900MHz, look for a 2600 or so.

Thanks hang-the-9. Yes it is a chinese unit with an AWA label (amalgamated wireless australasia) sold by Big W supermarts. It was bought for my wife's hobby room. I replaced the wall to unit flylead with R6 cable and retuned and so far everything is good. Regards Col44.
