two short HDMI cables made into 1?

hello, i have 2 HDMI cables that are shorter than needed, and i was wondering if i could snip them and solder them together and make 1 longer HDMI cable or if it would ruin the connection?

around 15-20 foot would be perfect. only store i have near me that sells HDMI cables is walmart and there longest was 10 foot

what kind of HDMI cables are they? HDMI 1.3 Standard (Category1, 28 AWG) or High Speed (Category2, 24 AWG)

a HDMI Standard cable starts showing problems when longer than 16ft.

use one of these with a 10ft and a 6ft cable
