Question Upgrading HP G61-415ES

Hi, I have an HP G61-415ES that have an Intel Pentium T4300 and I want to upgrade it.

According to HP Service and Manuals http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01740724 I only can put P8700, but according to this http://www.cpu-upgrade.com/CPUs/Intel/Pentium_Dual-Core_Mobile/T4300.html I can upgrade to an Core 2 Duo T9900 with 35W TDP.

I know it's bad to surpass the recommended TDP can be fatale. For that reason I'm only checking CPUs with 35W TDP.

Can I upgrade to T9900 for example?

So, HP is right? Bios only can recognize P8700?
