Is it possible? I have a Lenovo Ideapad z585.
Its a 15.6" 768p 40pin (lower left) display.
I have seen a 15.6" 1080p 40pin (lower left) display and was thinking it may fit.
Would there be driver issues at all?
I'll do further research to find out the exact dimensions to see if it will definitly fit, but wanted to know it it was possible first.
Thanks

The driver is not the issue (generic pnp driver), it's the hardware. Generally as long as your display adapter (whether it's an integrated GPU on the processor, or a dedicated GPU) can drive the resolution of the monitor you're looking at, the monitor physically will fit, and the connection/interface is compatible, it may work. It never hurts to check with the seller, though. Sometimes the system firmware will simply deny a monitor, or cause weird problems.
