Uploading photos from camera to computer

I do not have easy share software in my new computer. Do I need this to upload my photos from my easy share digital camera? If I don't please tell me how to do it.

Does your camera use an SD card? If so, get a USB card reader and connect it to your computer. You will see all your pictures in Windows Explorer. Copy and save them to your hard disk.
