i jus transplanted my motherboard, and installed windows xp pro, it was workin quite good till msn started going funny and lotsa softwares wudnt work, so i installed the original compaq windows xp home edition, and now it asks me for a driver for "Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller", and ive tried all the discs i had and none of them had it. My old motherboard was on an intel 845g chipset, the new one ASUS P4R800VM, with a radeon 9100 chipset...everything else is the same, and i didnt have this problem with win xp pro, but only now with compaq xp home.. (pc was a compaq 6263EA)

In device manager, the usb controller shows up in other devices, with a yello exclamation mark...
