Hi,

I have a usb hdd made from an ipod 5g which I have partitioned in two. The first is an bootable, active, primary partition in ntfs with an windows 7 multi install dvd which we use in our shop. The other partition is an exfat which holdes service packs and other stuff we use for tech support on location. My question is this:

Is is possible to make the boot partition hidden so when we plug it in only the exfat partition shows and is accessible from within windows while still be bootable and working as intended?

Also if it is hidden, how do we access it if we need to change the content?

Why not just password protect the partition. Here is free software link.

To add: Laptops and mobile phones have hidden partitions with roms and restore images that customers do not have access to. This is what we are looking for. Again we want that boot partition to NOT be accessible via windows explorer.

Yes, I read it. If you are such a techie, you can do your own searches.
