Use tablet WiFi instead of 4G for tethering.

The situation:

A PC without WiFi needs internet.
I don't have access to a mobile network.

I have a tablet with WiFi
I share the neighbors internet bill but the landlord won't let us drill a hole to run a wire.

Every tethering solution I found only works with cellular data.


The goal:
Connect to WiFi with the UNROOTED tablet, then share that connection with my PC via USB.



Is there a way to do this that I may have overlooked?

Not that I know of.

Seriously; spend $5 on a USB WiFi adapter.
