Using Samsung Smart TV no audio with movies downloaded from Amazon apps

I have a new Samsung UN65KS8000 TV, and I am connected via HDMI to a Onkyo receiver. The sound while using the Blu-Ray player or Direct TV is fine. However, when I loaded an Amazon app and tried to play a movie I get absolutely no audio. The movie video is fine. I have tried every option I can think of on both the Samsung control menu and the Onkyo, without any success. Any ideas?
 
I would suspect a audio format not supported by your tv is being used by your amazon app.
I see this on my daughters 1 year old TV it does not support MKV
 


Thanks for the quick response. I purchased this TV a week ago, so I assume all software is current. I wonder if another cable between the TV and receiver is required.
