Solved! Vaio VGNSR599 jumping keyboard text

I have a new Vaio VGNSR599, which is great accept for one annoying problem. Whenever I type, the cursor jumps to a different location earlier in the text or disappears to a different window.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

It could be an issue with the keyboard or the touch pad. Try updating the driver for both and see if that corrects the issue. Then again, it could be just a simple matter like your hand touching the touch pad and not realizing it, i.e. the touchpad could be a bit more sensitive than you think (don't worry, we've all done it).
