Solved! Vertical Lines on Sony Bravia TV?

My TV suddenly has vertical lines (mostly red, some green) all across the screen. They are present on every channel, every input (cable box, apple tv, etc), and don’t go away when the TV is switched off/on or unplugged/replugged. My Sony Bravia 40” is about 13 years old. Any insight on the issue?

Yeah I’ve seen the T-Con board mentioned as a typical issue on other forums. Given the 13-yr age of the TV, may be preferable to just replace the entire set at this point. It had been working perfectly until now!
