My mom told me today that i messed with her laptop, Even though i did not, i asked her what i changed and i saw that AVG free said there was 21,198,848 days left in a trial version, I did not capture a pic but if anyone knows why it said that, Please tell me! (Because that's approximately 59 thousand years, And i am NOT exaggerating that!:ouch:)

Hi,

It doesn't sound like a "Glitch", because Microsoft tends to do something similar when you activate your product (for example office).

I once had a Lady at work change her Laptop dates (don't know why) - but she got it right that the BIOS thought it was the year 2070 and she came to me, and told me that her Office is not activated - because Microsoft "validates" the installation for a couple of years, and then you can just re-activate it.

It is pretty common for companie to just "push" the activation date for what they believe to be "forever".

So you shouldn't have to worry - if it bothers you, get avast or some other free Antivirus.

Regards,

Yeah, only that its AVG free and AVG free does not have a license key that you need to input so since its AVG free this probably should not happen, If you want a photoshopped pic of what it can look like, here:

Mind my photoshaap skills plz.

It might look weird, but it doesnt look like something you need to worry about.

As I said, if it bothers you, get another free one :)

Here's a link for the best free Antivirus':

Hope it helps.
