(for lack of a VGA port) the S-VIDEO is to blury for my liking and have fidiled for endless hours with th aspect ratio output and pixle settings on my laptop and the aspect setting on my mon and still i have not been able to get a good picture. can some please tell me that there is a VGA to HDMI converter and if not, is my solution(VGA--CONV--DVI--CONV--HDMI) right to get what i want.

You have to be really careful about what kind of VGA to HDMI solutions you purchase. There are so many bad solutions out there. Definitely don't go for anything promising a simple VGA to HDMI cable. Also, make sure any converter you purchase is a scaler or you may run into big problems with getting the resolution formatted properly.

There's a cool website i found that details some of that info about signal types and the VGA to HDMI cable.

And also, check to see if the monitor manufacturer has drivers that you can load into your windows system.
