Hi,

I have a Lenovo z500 which I purchased around a year ago. Recently I have noticed that whenever I watch video and also now as I am typing I get a very short (<1 second) but noticeable lag/stutter/mini-freeze roughly every three seconds. Audio is not affected at all.

One small quirk is that video playback on windows media or iTunes does not have this problem and I'm starting to believe it may be an issue with Google chrome.

If anyone could help me I would appreciate it.

Here is some system information:

Solution
sounds like conflicting video drivers to me .. check your prigram list to see if both drivers for the hd graphics and the nvidia gt 635m is installed at once .. if so uninstall the hd graphics as it sucks .. the core i7 comes with hd graphics built in so its bound to cause a conflict if they are both active at the sametime
