Videos Are Displayed Upside Down in Winamp Player

Winamp player is one of the oldest media players available online today. Since the player has been in the market from quite a long time, even its latest versions are also developed in such a way so that they can become backward compatible in order to support the computer systems that have legacy versions of hardware drivers installed on them.

Since many legacy video drivers have completely different architecture as compared to the ones that are developed today, their preferences and video playback settings differ accordingly. In order to accommodate with such drivers, Winamp player has some built-in features so that the users can easily make their instances of the player fully compatible as per their computer systems and the drivers installed in them.

If your instance of Winamp player is displaying the videos upside down, this means that the application is configured to support the legacy versions of Windows drivers. If your hardware is quite new and the Winamp is configured to support the legacy drivers, you would definitely get the obnoxious video playback experience.

In this tutorial, you will learn how you can revert the misconfigured settings back to normal so that your instance of Winamp Player starts playing the video files in the proper manner.

In order to configure your instance of Winamp layer in this way, you are not required to have administrative rights on the computer, and neither do you have to have any technical knowledge. You are just required to follow the instructions exactly the way they are given in this tutorial.

The instructions to resolve the above mentioned issue are:

    ■Initialize the Winamp player.
