Videos on HTC touch?

Hello, I have the HTC touch MP6900SP and I was curious if someone could tell me how to get videos on this. I have a 2g card and it would be nice to get movies for the road. I think Ive tried using wma and mpeg formats and media player tells me it cant play it. So format and program to convert would be wonderful info. Thanks!
