Viewing movies on tv from external HD

Hi, new to all this, so here goes.
I have a FETCH mighty which I can plug my external HD into and movies play fine.
What I would like to know is there a program that will download all the info about the movies, similar to what PLEX does but that will run from HD or Fetch Mighty and do similar.

This depends entirely on the capabilities of the device, best place to check would be support from the company. Nothing will just give you info about movies on it's own, and what will display it depends on the program and how you download the info. I use a program called MyMovies Database, works great but probably not what you are looking for exactly. https/www.mymovies.dk/products/collection-management.aspx
