Firstly, I am having a virus problem... well i believe its a virus. Everytime i open Google Chrome or Internet Explorer it auto opens www.searching.com! I did abit of research and follwed the steps to fix the problem but it still comes up. I changed my google start page to http://google.ca/, and i went to the Google Chrome shortcut and changed the "Target" section to http://google.ca/ like the website said, this temporarily fixes the problem untill i restart my computer and it sets the "Target" section back to the www.searching.com URL. Im just totally stressed out and no matter how hard i try i cannot find a 100% working solution to the problem. Secondly, As for the question about my PSU. I have a Thermaltake TR2 500w PSU, and on the back there is a little red switch that you can select 115 or 230. What exactly does this do and what should i leave it on. I was having problems with my harddrive for awhile when i had it switched to 230 but now that i have it put on 115 its working again. I dont know why this fixed the HDD problem. Hopefully this will permanently terminate the HDD problem and it wont happen again.

Solution
try resetting google thru the settings icon near top right corner. that switch is to turn the voltage from 115 volts north America to 230 volts to Europe & other parts of the world. as you live in Canada as I do then leave that switch set to 115v
