I was wondering what the best is for a SSD lifespan. (Intel 760p
(VMware)
Saving and using a virtual drive as a single file or as multiple files?

Zero difference.
And with current SSD's, you have to try really really hard to kill it due to "lifespan".

There won't be any performance difference nor are there any file size limitations so keep it simple and don't split the image. As far as lifespan is concerned either way wouldn't really matter.
