Volume Fluctuations

My Creative Inspire T2900 will randomly change sound volumes without me changing the volume control. Additionally, tapping the volume control lightly sometimes changes the volume much more than it should. I don't notice this problem with headphones.

something sounds faulty, best e-mail creative tech support. i have had dealing with them before, they are pretty good.
