Volume issues on smart tv

I just got my Aquos Sharp Smart TV & only certain channels get sound from both my sound box & tv but not most channels. What am I missing? If it were plugged incorrectly, I shouldn't have sound on any channels right?

Try changing the audio output of the TV in the audio menu. It might work without the change on some channels that are not using Dolby Digital for their sound.
