So I'm currently in the process of finishing my basement and had a really good idea but I have absolutely no idea how to actually go through with it. My gaming PC is currently stationed in my room upstairs, but when I have parties I would like to be able to play VR on my Vive downstairs with my friends, but the problem comes in with not having to bring my PC downstairs. Is there any way I can have the Vive downstairs and just drill holes through the floors to get the cable down to my basement, or something of that type. I realize I would need to have 2 new base stations and most likely a new link box. But other than that is there a cable long enough to reach that far? Any helpful info would be great! Thank you

Look into the HTC Vive TPCast Wireless setup.
That would be the best option, because then the only cable length you are worried about is to get from the PC to the top of the ceiling near your play area for the antenna.
