Hello everyone! I am using an Acer One 14 Z1402-31ZJ with Windows 10. My intergrated camera was working fine until recently. But now each time I try to use the webcam a message error appears saying that the camera is not detected. I've been trying many different ways to solve this problem.

1. I've tried to run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter to detect any issues - didn't work

2. Imaging devices is missing in device manager. (It was there before) I've tried several times to search any new device changes, updates or hidden - didn't work.

3. I've also tried to restore my laptop but the webcam still doesn't work. :)

I really hope someone can help me!

Thank you

Hi,

Unfortunately, there's no driver download from ACER's support site. I would suggest running System Restore but you've already done that as you mentioned. Please do run another System Restore that is earlier that before you had that problem with your webcam.

Here's how to run System Restore: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ph/windows-10/windows-10-recovery-options

If these will still not work, last option would be to reinstall Windows 10. Please refer to the link below for the complete guide.

Thanks for the advice! I will try to reinstall Windows but I m scared it might be a bit too complicated for me :)! When I did a system restore it didn t propose me any date. It simply said that it will restore the system to how it is initially.

Thanks again
