Went from a $700 Satellite p7200-200 to a $1200 Lenovo y50 Best Buy config

Was this a good upgrade my budget is $1200 and I play Starcraft 2 mainly with FF 15.
Should I return it? I was going to get an Asus something that was $1000 with a 840m but the clerk talked me into the 860m. Also should I get geek squad? My Toshiba messed up because the plastic wrap near the charger broke off and the charging port stopped worked. I took it to Best buy but they wanted $500 to replace it the entire wraparound keyboard and motherboard so I figured might as well get a new computer! Geek squad is really expensive though, like $250 for a year or something like that. I dont want to be in the same situation with this computer but I do know I treat my computers rough.

Great upgrade! The Lenovo Y50 is very powerful laptop, has a great dedicated GPU, and is much better than the Satellite.

The lenonvo has a much better build quality than the Toshiba's. Usually the specs for Lenovo are fair for the price, as well as paying more now for a better laptop for further down the road. Also, I would skip on the extended warranty.

Yes it helps a ton in gaming.
