what do i do when i have "insuffiecent storage" but alot of SD card space

I hav an Android optimus exceed 2 and my phone keeps saying "insuffiecent memory" and i have 1.5G of free SD card space and 147mb of internal storage but it won't let me dowload an app that would only take 16mb of space

It is showing that your phone memory is full. Try shifting your applications installed in phone to SD card. I hope it will be ok.
