Solved! What Does FRU Mean?

Hello,
The maintenance manual for my laptop computer keeps refering to FRU. For example:

"If you are instructed to replace a FRU but the replacement does not correct the problem, reinstall the original FRU before you continue".

I can't figure out what FRU means! Can you help me?

FRU is a 'field replaceable unit'. It's a part that can removed and replaced by a technician (in the field) without needing to be returned to a major repair facility.
