hi. im looking at this laptop
http://www.sagernotebook.com/index.php?page=product_customed&model_name=NP2252

it comes with the i5-3210M Processor which has the hd 4000 according to intels website. however under graphics card specifications, it says Intel GMA HD Integrated Graphics with Share Memory Architecture up to 1.7GB . Is this the hd 4000 or is this something else?

thanks!

edit: also is the hd graphics 4000 on a laptop CPU the same quality as a desktop cpu? im aware that the hd 4000 is a signifcant improvement over the 3000 for desktop cpus but am not sure about laptop cpus.

The HD graphics adapters use the main system memory rather than their own integrated SGRAM like most discrete adapters. They will use 64Mb by default but if more is required they will take up to 1.7GB.
