GPU upgrade for Aspire 5310?

So i have this old laptop that used to run xp... celeron M 520, 1gb ram, 80gb HDD, GMA 945 graphics. me and my friend decided to upgrade it and make it a windows 10 capable machine, so we swapped the CPU with a core duo T2300E and gave it a 500GB hdd, and 2gb ram. Only problem is is that it can only handle Half life 2 lowest settings, barely keeping it above 40fps. Now, in the upgrading process, i spotted a bunch of contacts that have a very similar arrangement as the familiar desktop PCI-X16 slot. I was wondering and my friend too, can't we give it just a mobility radeon hd 5650 or something? i have a crappy old Core 2 duo macbook and i really need something that can handle light gaming(like garry's mod, hl2, l4d2, etc) and runs windows. Any help? I'll send pictures if any of you guys need some.

that is actually a pcmcia slot for express card if i am not mistaken.and no you cant change the gpu on that notebook.
