What Happens After You Buy A Laptop?

Hi. What I’m about to say might be a little confusing, so I’ll try to keep it as simple as possible. So, I was thinking about buying an Alienware laptop. Do I receive and messages at all from Dell (even after the warranty expires) concerning the device? I know that may be confusing, but for all of you Dell laptop owners, help me out here. What if I was planning to sell it on eBay after the warranty expires, would I still get notifications from Dell at all? So basically, my question is, does Dell contact you at all concerning your laptop (after warranty expiration)? Please reply soon, thanks!

I dont know of any manufacturer going out of their way to contact a customer without them asking first.
Even if you did get emails, you just unsubscribe from the list.

They have no way of knowing how long you have the laptop, if its a gift, etc. So they arent going to pin you onto some lifetime email list.

Any messages they send will be to an email address. They can't send a message to a specific machine.
