Solved! What happens if you allocate more vram than what is “recommended”

Hey guys,
So as the question states I was playing around with my computer which has a deletion processor and Intel graphics and I upped the graphics it said I could do 1792mb for allocated graphics, I was wondering what would happen if I tried bumping it up to 2gb? Would it cause problems or could I try it?

with igpu, it mean it will take away from system memory.
and bios will not let you take more

Okay if I’m setting it in the registry since the bios didn’t have an option I could find, If I try it would it throw an error or what? Like is it something I could input to see if the computer can run on it since I’m finding conflicting reports online

what the exact laptop model? how much ram does it have?

Toshiba Satellite C50-A with 12gb ram in it

you can try, worst case is it won't boot to windows. then just do a fresh os install
