We have a Sony Blu-Ray and in the menu we've recently noticed about 8 listings for something called "BRCM-DMS 3". I've clicked on it many times and it pulls up a screen that says "Server Starting Up". After a few moments, another screen: "Try Again Later". I've also noticed 3 new empty sub-folders ("Music", "Photos", and "Video").
The device works perfectly.
Now I've noticed a similar folder in my W10 Desktop with the same name. It contains 3 empty sub-folders ("Music", "Photos", and "Video"). There's a right-click option to "Remove Device". It also says Broadcom.com and Model 68778345001, MAC 80:29:94:5a:8a:f6, Unique Identifier uuid:53d9454e-1dd2-11b2-b22c-ea8f673e0130, and IP 192.168.0.3.
Does anyone know what the heck all this means? I'm tempted to choose the Remove Device option, but that won't address the 8 or so (and growing) messages on the blu-ray.
Thanks for any advice,
Alan
