What is called the part of the laptop which sits before the keyboard

Hello, on asus g75vw, what is the name of this surface which is in front of the keyboard on which you are placing your hands when typing ? Where the touch pad is located ?

The touchpad is located in the middle in front of the spacebar. The name of the surface would generously be called a wrist rest, but really it's just part of the computer body.

Not really a specific term designated to that, if anything it would be called the hand-rest, outside of that it is just portion of the top cover.

Probably just search for a palmrest, that seems to be the most common term.

You will probably need the whole top cover - I haven't seen this area being separate piece of plastic.
