What is " other" on my internal storage? And how do I clean it up?

I have a Samsung Galaxy 2. Keeps telling me I have no room. But when I look on device storage it just says "other". I cannot find "other" anywhere.

Other is just all things not specifically named in the list of things using space. You can't find 'other' because it isn't a single thing.

To clean up space clear histories and caches. Uninstall apps you don't use. Save things like photos, music, etc. to the SD card. This all will give you more space.
