What is the difference?

Hey guys, I know component and RGB are two different things in regaurds the the singaling... But is it possible to use component cable for a RGB connection? More specifically, can I use a VGA to component cable for a VGA to RGB connection? Thanks!

I am not 100% sure that I understand your question, but it looks like you have VGA signal and RGB input on your TV. In this case no matter what the cables are, you will not be able to see picture. At best you may (just may, I am not sure here) see something with all colors went completely wrong wrong, like red instead of white and so on.
