what is the driver name needed for a Asus G50 harddrive

what driver is needed 320GB 7200RPM Seagate HDD. I'm trying to install Kali Linux on my old computer but its not finding my disk drive and I need to download the driver for it. It gives me a long list but I don't know which one is needed.

there are no rivers for HDDs.

does Kali Linux support your chipset?

does the BIOS see the drive?

according to linlap.com it is. the bios is reading in but the OS isn't reading it
