Question what password

I have an Acatel 3025x flip top phone. It had a 'Security Folder' into which I passed a 'Message' . when I tried to enter the folder it demanded a password. I've tried the usual initial passwords ie 00000000, 12345678, with no luck has anyone got any suggestions? I have the usual numbers from the box, but the password is eight characters and the ones on the box are either 7 or longer
