Wondering what kind of performance/speed differences I would get with these two different processor/RAM setups. The first one is an i3 370 2.4mhz with 6 gb RAM and the other is a i5 460M 2.53mhz with 5 gb RAM. Both processors are gen 1. Both are on a Dell 15r N5010 laptop. All other specs between the two seem the same.

Machine will be used primarily for surfing/email and video playback (netflix and youtube).

If you are strictly going to do those few activities only.. either one is fine. BUT
IF I were you.. I would go with the core i5 since it's a bit more better cpu wise...
In case in the near future you plan to start gaming on it...
